Outstanding. The shop is well stocked, the staff knowledgeable and if there is anything I want that they don't have in or don't usually stock, they're more than happy to order it for me if they can. For several years now I've ordered vegan beef-style roasts so my wife and I can enjoy a Christmas dinner and despite leaving it until the start of December one year, they've never let me down.The shop provides healthy and specialist foods, including a wide range of vegan and gluten free products, as well as effective alternative medicines and tasty organic products. The prices are about on par with other shops of this type, often a little cheaper, but buyers should not venture inside expecting supermarket prices. Quality has to be paid for and quality is what this shop provides.The shop is both tidy and well-organised, and if there's something you need but can't immediately find, the staff can always point you in the right direction. While on the subject of the staff, the service you can expect from Eco is both friendly and professional, and unlike a lot of places these days, if there's no one behind the counter when you walk through the door it's because they're working rather than hiding in the back, and in spite of the occasional absence I've never had to wait more than thirty seconds for service.Eco is a prime example of how a business should be run. The needs of the customer always come first, there are no bad apples among the staff and the balance between quality and pricing is impeccable.I try hard to provide balanced reviews, but the only criticism I could make of this store is that it is sometimes difficult to find a parking space nearby. The short road on which it is situated is shared with one of the town's primary schools, and towards the end of the school day cars line both sides of the road. However, this is a trivial flaw beyond the control of the store's management and it is one of the few shops I can honestly say is worth hiking to from a neighbouring street when necessary.Five stars doesn't seem enough.
