Right at the Western ferries terminal and room quality is mixed. The better rooms at the front of the hotel are huge and have a great view and beds are comfy. The rear rooms are small with no real view but are also clean and tidy. Quite often there is a dinner dance or music at weekends when the tour busses arrive. Food is very good
I love this place. Yes it's an older hotel but it's full or charm and the staff could not be better. I'll be back and I'll bring my family.
My wife, dog and I were made to feel very welcome by the owner Richard, there was a small misunderstanding on my behalf with the booking with regards to our dog, but Richard soon sorted it all with a smile. Our room was a perfect size with high ceillings, the bathroom was also large and the shower pressure was fantastic, I often need a room in Dunoon for work and can safely say I will from now on be a returning customer to the Royal Marine, thanks again to Richard and his friendly, helpfully staff.
Love this hotel and all the staff. They will go out of their way to give you the best possible stay they can while you are there. Definitely be back been hear loads of times now.
Two night stay in a fabulous old building. Richard and Dillon and their small army of helpers have a massive task ahead to bring this old lady back to her glamorous past but they have made a grand start. Friendly staff, good value and pet friendly too. We are going to have to go back to see how the work progresses. This is the first building you see when the western ferry docks, so come on Dunoon, get behind these guys and their project.
